At the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Thursday morning, Gary Tracy spoke to an intimate group of listeners about his book, “The Forestry Pilot.” Being a former Saultite and float plane pilot, it was fitting that his book takes place in the Soo.
He did a brief reading and explained the three parts of his book and the symbolism involved throughout. Later he thanked everyone for coming to this informal gathering. There was a round of applause from the audience after his talk. Then Edie Suriano, Marketing and Promotions Co-ordinator, thanked Mr. Tracy for being there to promote his literary work.
Afterwards he spoke to some of the people who attended. He graciously signed my copy of his book. I can’t wait to read it.
