NO PARKING WINTER BAN

With winter coming, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to take this opportunity to remind the public that starting on November 1st there will be no parking on any city street between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

Sault Ste. Marie City by-law 77-200 is in effect each year from November 1st through March 31st. This parking restriction aids our city staff in removing snow from our streets. Any vehicles found in contravention of the by-law may be subject to a fine in the amount of $15.00 or, removal of the vehicle from the area (towing) if it is impeding the removal of snow.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will continue to work with the public to ensure the streets remain safe and clear in the upcoming winter months.
