Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Services Division are currently looking to arrest 27 year old Jarrett Joseph JOCKO for Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching. It is alleged that around midnight on the 25th of August 2012 a lone female victim was walking in the area of Wellington Street East near Simpson Street. The female was approached by a male who was not known to her. The male engaged the victim in a conversation at first, and then the victim was taken to a nearby secluded area. Once in that area, the accused sexually assaulted the victim. As a result of the investigation, officers were able to identify Jarrett Joseph JOCKO as the accused, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
If a member of the public observes Mr. JOCKO they are advised to contact police immediately and not approach this male. Mr. JOCKO is described as an Aboriginal male 5’11” tall with a thin build weighing approximately 180lbs. He has dark black hair, brown eyes and a goatee.
