This morning children and their caregivers from the ADSB's Parenting and Family Literacy Centres went for a "Walk in the Woods" along the Hub Trail. The walk was guided by Megan and Jack from Soo College's Natural Environmental and Outdoor Studies Program.

This was a wonderful opportunity to introduce language and literacy to the infants and toddlers as they found snails and cattails and talked about how nature gets ready for winter.

Parenting and Family Literacy Centres are free, drop-in programs for children ages 0-6. They are located at Etienne Brule, Northern Heights, River View, and Pinewood schools.
