‘Sault Roller Derby League’ is a registered non-profit sports league with a current roster of 13 registered members. The sport of flat-track roller derby, known for many years in the United States has sparked an insurgence of the sport in Canada and there are leagues rolling all over Ontario. Many leagues are in Southern Ontario and in the Toronto area, and now there are leagues ready and rolling in Northern Ontario.
SRD hopes to enlist more skating girls, referees, and volunteers to sign-up and train over the fall and winter months to get them rolling to play for SRD's TEAM the "Soonami Slammers" in the spring!
