Get a piece of Sault history. The Sault Ste Marie Public Library is holding a public auction for surplus furniture and shelving as part of the decommissioning of the old Korah Branch Library. Members of the public can place a bid on each item as marked for sale. Bidding closes on Saturday Oct 20, 2012 12 noon. Successful bidders will be notified for payment and to arrange for the removal of the said items. Bids must be made in person at the Old Korah Branch Library during the set auction times.We have tables, chairs and a variety of metal and wooden shelving. Pictures of the available items will be posted on the Library’s website at www.ssmpl.ca.
The Friends of the Library will be holding a Book sale during the Auction so don’t miss an opportunity to take home good books at the best prices in town. Books that match ever age range and reading taste will be available, including a wide range of children’s and adult titles.
