Large crowds including superheros graced the 17th annual Bushplane Days at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre on Saturday and more fun and excitement is planned for day two on Sunday.
The Sault Ste. Marie waterfront attraction has seen visitors rise in the last year and events like this one help keeps the not for profit museum afloat.
Along with many hands on displays and exhibits ,the popular MNR fly-by waterbombing demonstration drew oohs and awes on the waterfront. Inside Spiderman seemed to be a big draw for the kids who was more than happy to pose for photos.
The jam-packed celebration of aviation and forestry history featured something for everyone and if you haven't been to the centre for awhile , Bushplane days gives you a great opportunity to see why this attraction is one of the top attractions in the province.
Art exhibitions, model displays, chartered flights, demonstrations, Science North kids’ exhibits, model train rides, great musical entertainment, Another Marvel character , Captain America will also be featured Sunday
While the kids were playing inside Mom and Dad had an opportunity to test drive a new ford with Maitland Ford Lincoln holding their popular DriveOne4 Event - each test drive represented a $20 donation to the Bushplane Heritage Centre courtesy Maitland Ford Lincoln.
Checkout the Bushplane Centre tomorrow for another fun filled day!
