You may a recall a story we ran back in July about Nanny. The little black female chihuahua that got lost in the city's west end.
Owners, KEN & JEN MANCUSO-DUGUAY have never stopped looking for her. Though three months have passed the couple still holds out hope that Nanny will be home one day soon.
Today, LOCAL2.ca received an update and there is hope with the latest news.
The couple writes us:
We lost our little black chihuahua in July. We still haven't found her BUT were not giving up hope!. TODAY we received a call from a woman who lives on Reid St, she has Nanny's collar that's how she reached us! My husband was home (thank God), and he went up there right away w my daughter to look for her.
The lady said Nanny has been hiding in the bushes behind her house for 2 weeks now! and she has been seeing her come and go, she puts out food for her, but couldn't grab her because she would run away. She told us that she called the humane society and asked if they knew anything about this lost dog, and they told her no!!!
If you see this dog in and around the Reid street area, please call 705-946-4769,
and if no one answers Please leave a detailed message.
