On September 8th, 2012 shortly before 8:00 pm police were called to the Rhodes Centre parking lot for a motor vehicle collision.
Officers learned that a truck had been struck in the lot and the offending vehicle had left the area. Police located the offending vehicle at the owners’ residence and learned that an eighteen year old male had taken the vehicle without the owners’ permission.
The male was arrested and charged with Take Motor Vehicle without Owners Consent and Breach of Probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The male will appear on October the 15th at 9:00 am for court. (The identity of the male cannot be released as his charges relate to his time as a Young Person pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.)
