“It’s remarkable; Callie consistently demonstrates strong personal vision, intriguing explorations in subject matter and undeniable mastery of her craft,” states Colin Crowell, professor in the Photography program at Sault College. “Exceptionally gifted, Callie’s work isn’t just the product of talent, she is one of the hardest working photographers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.”
The award receives attention from creative directors across Canada. Photolife magazine is one of the most respected photography publications in Canada. Often dominated by photographers in major urban centers, to have a winner from Northern Ontario is exceptional. The College is only too pleased to extend our congratulations to Callie on this remarkable achievement.
