The Tenaris/SIS U-16 Vipers recorded a tie, loss and a win in the final weakend of WOYSL U-16 play. In Friday nights game the Vipers had to settle to a 1-1 tie. Having just travelled seven hours earlier in the day, the Vipers started off slowly against Southend Fusion and were down 1-0 early in the match. In the second half the Vipers got their legs going and had numerous chances after controlling most of the play. Adriane Bruni scored with under 5 minutes remaining resulting in the tie.
In Saturday's game against Byron Athletica, the Vipers started off slow once again and spotted Byron a 2-0 lead. In the 2nd half, the Vipers picked up their play. A foul in the 18 yard box led to a penalty shot. Daniella Febbraro made no mistake and cut the lead in half. The Vipers had numerous chances but couldn't get the tying goal resulting in a 2-1 loss. In Sunday's final game of the season against Southend Fusion, the Vipers needed a win to clinch 4th place,
The Vipers did just that. Two goals by Taylor Bellini and Riley Millar and a marker by Mikaela McBurney resulted in a 5-1 win. The Vipers finished the season with a 6-4-8 win-tie-loss record with 22 points.
