Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie and Area has received some generous offers from potential and past penny rollers to help roll pennies. The latest count is 1,188,650 pennies (and of course those great “penny equivalents”.). 811,350 more would bring it to 2,000,000 or 20% of the goal of 10 million pennies. Can it be done by the end of September? Sooner? What a boost that would be to the hardworking penny workers at the ReStore, the affiliate office and all across the city!
Here is a challenge for all those people with the big collections of pennies that they have stashed away: donate those pennies today to help HFHSSMA bring to life the vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
