Not One , But Five Waterspouts!

A photographer captured five simultaneous waterspouts over Lake Michigan Saturday. The weather phenomenon is caused similar to that of a Tornado on the ground. Cold air aloft sinks towards the warmer air over the water, while the warmer air from the lake rises drastically eventually forming a vertical vortex .
