Canada/USCitizens of Bellingham, Washington are demanding "Canadian-Free, American-Only" hours at a Costco store, saying that they are simply fed up at long lines of Canadian shoppers taking advantage of the weak US dollar.

A Facebook page called "Bellingham Costco needs a special time just for Americans" has drawn a huge backlash north of the border in British Columbia, where one resident claimed "Americans come up here for their cheap prescriptions, and we don't complain, what gives them the right to talk badly about us, we've done nothing wrong!"

According to residents in Bellingham, Canadians are "rude" and "greedy". Pictures on the Facebook page show Canadians grabbing all of the milk at the Costco in question and lineups at the cash registers, and one picture shows an SUV taking up two parking spaces in the lot outside of the store.

What are your opinions? Do you think that the American-Only shopping hours should go into effect to prevent long lineups? Or do you believe that Canadians should be able to shop wherever they please? Let us know in the comments section.
