One person has been taken into custody following a shooting near the campus of A&M University in Texas.Media there are reporting at least 100 rounds of gunfire were heard. Multiple people including law enforcement officers have been shot.
There was no immediate confirmation on the nature of any of the victims’ injuries.
The school issued an alert at 12:44 p.m. to say that the shooter is in custody, citing College Station police.
College Station is about 145 kilometres northwest of Houston.
