DRIVE ONE TEST DRIVE HEADLINEBeing community minded comes second nature to several local businesses in Sault Ste. Marie and Maitland Ford Lincoln is no exception.

For decades the local car dealership has supported many various charities and programs locally and during September they plan on helping out three worthwhile causes.

Maitland Ford will roll out three Drive 1 even ts in hopes of raising as much as $18,000 to help support Pee Wee Hockey, The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and the Student Nutrition Program from Algoma Family Services.

DRIVE 1 LOGOThe Drive 1 events, a Ford Motor Company initiative allows individual dealerships to help support local causes such as schools and other not for profit organizations. The concept is pretty simple. You take a test drive in any one of the Ford vehicles available and the dealership donates $20 per test drive to that organization. What's even better is you can take part in all three events scheduled in September.

Saturday, September 8th - Envirotek Junior Pee Wee Major AAA Hockey Team (at dealership, proceeds will help with various team expenses)

Saturday, September 22nd – Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (being held at Bushplane Days, Saturday only– proceeds will support the museum)
