PUC customers in the Peoples & Penno Subdivision west to Farewell Terr & Korah, 2nd Line West; north to 3rd Line West areas lost power at around10:38 Sunday due to a Failed high voltage switch cause pole to burn reports the Sault Ste. Marie PUC.About 1,111 customers lost power with the majority of those customers having the lights come back on just before 11am. The PUC reports about 14 homes are still not back up, but should be shortly.
