The Steamy Bean Coffee Co. isn’t just your usual coffee shop. It has all the coffee that you could want and from time to time, live entertainment. Last night it looked and sounded like the Yorkville of the 60’s.

Rick Charbonneau and Friends performed there, playing music that brought you back to the days of the flower children. The band is made up of Rick Charbonneau, vocalist and guitarist, Britta Wolfert, also vocalist and guitarist, Doug Wilde on keyboards and Enn Poldmaa on mandolin. The differences between the 60’s and last night were that there was no pot smoking, no long flowered dresses, no-one throwing flowers around, and no-one offering free love like way back then. Those were good days but the music and atmosphere, last night were just as good if not better.
