Congratulations to the U11 Boys RBCDS Sault Civic Scorpions for their championship at the Greater Sudbury Impact Soccer Tournament this past weekend!It was a solid team effort for the Scorpions who outscored their opponents 18-2 in round robin play.
The Scorpions beat Greater Sudbury Falcons 6-0, then Tri-town Tigers 4-0, and then North bay 8-2.
In semi final play the RBCDS Sault Civic Scorpions were victorious against North Bay to a score of 6-0.
The Scorpions then played the finals, and were victorious with a hard fought battle over the Sudbury Impact.
The final game ended 4-1 with 3 goals being scored in the first 10 minute overtime.
The boys competed very hard all weekend and were rewarded for their results!
