Come on down to the Roberta Bondar Tent and Marina this weekend for lots of Free Family Fun! The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore is hosting their second annual Kiwanis International Walleye Tournament July 13-15, 2012.
Schedule of events:
Friday July 13th 6:30p.m. - Parade of Boats
We will close St. Mary's River Dr. to vehicular traffic and have our participants boats parked on land between the Station Mall and the boardwalk. Come on down, meet the competitors, see the impressive boats, take some pictures and get some autographs. Italo Labignan from Canadian Sportfishing on TSN will also be there wandering the parade grounds and meeting the public.
Saturday July 14th & Sunday July 15th - 7:00a.m.
For the early risers! The launch of our competitors' boats is an impressive site to behold! They'll collect in front of the Bondar Marina and be released by our starter's boat starting at 7:00a.m.
Saturday July 14th & Sunday July 15th Noon-4:00p.m. (on the lawn between Roberta Bondar Pavillion & Marina)
Free Childrens Activities will run throughout both afternoons including: Inflatable Fun Carnival, Facepainting, Metis Crafts, and our Fishing Simulator where you're guaranteed to catch a big one! A BBQ and refreshments will be available on site as well.

Witness the monster Walleye caught straight from our own backyard! Our competitors bring the fish in live, we weigh them in water and release them back into the St. Mary's River. Please Note: The weigh in station will be open all day but all competitors must check in by the times listed above. (on stage at Roberta Bondar Pavillion)
