At approximately 5:15 pm this evening OPP Helicopter Unit located Pamela Donnelly approximately six kilometres East of Trout Lake in Aweres Township.
Ms. Donnelly became disorientated when she took her dog for a walk down a bush path near the family camp yesterday evening. Co-workers at her employment became concerned when she did not show up for work this morning and contacted out of town family who then contacted OPP.
OPP North East Region Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit and Sault Search and Rescue began a ground search and Ms. Donnelly and her dog were located shortly after by the OPP Helicopter Unit and transported to safety.
She was in good health and did not require any medical treatment.
