While we experienced our first heatwave of the Summer last week in Sault Ste. Marie, folks south of the border have been baking in 100 degree temperatures for almost two weeks.
Strong thunderstorms and tornado's have knocked off power to hundreds of thousands pf homes , leaving many without air conditioning until power was restored.
Temperatures of more than 100 degrees were forecast in Philadelphia, authorities warned of excessive heat in the Midwest and in the mid-Atlantic
