The St. Ann Bulldogs captured first place in the HSCDSB West Zone Track & Field Meet for Sault Ste. Marie elementary schools at the Jo Forman Track on Tuesday, June 12th. St. Ann compiled 95 points on a day which saw the student-athletes face cool and windy conditions. Our Lady of Lourdes finished 2nd in the team standings while St. John was third.
There were not records set but there were a number of multiple winners including Jacob Trudel from Lourdes and Zac Senecal from St. Theresa who won three events. St. Ann's Nick Keenan, Aidan Sicoli from St. John and Emma Sissenah from St. Theresa were double winners.
The East Zone Meet takes place Wednesday, June 13.
