Murray, Trotter, Mihell All Set Records

TRACK 1
Kye Heimonen (Superior Heights) and Erin Mohomadey (Notre-Dame) battle for the lead in the Junior men 3000 meter race

The city track and field meet, took place on Wednesday and wrapped up Thursday afternoon. Over the two days each high school had the opportunity to show off their top athletes and compete for the track title.

TRACK 2

Over the two days Marissa Lobert won all 3 of her senior events. The 800-meter run, 1500-meter run and she topped it all off with a 3000-meter run victory. The superior heights student won the 1500-meter race by a total of 10 seconds and the 3000-meter race by 43 seconds.



Lydia Murray set a new Midget girls’ 800-meter run record with a time of 2:24:75.

Kate Trotter set a new senior girl high jump record with a height of 1.61 meters.

Also Cydney Mihell set a new record in the 100-meter senior girls hurdles with a time of 16.26 seconds.
