The U16 Sault Ice Hawks were triumphant at the Paris Ringette tournament this past weekend winning Gold. In round robin play the Sault Ice Hawks blanked the Kitchener Wildcats 3-0 on Friday night. Saturday the Sault team defeated Paris 4-1 and beat the Pickering Stars 3-2.
The gold medal game Sunday was a nail biter with the Sault pulling out a 3-2 win in overtime against the Pickering Stars.

The Ice Hawks are coached by Debbie Desgagne, Steve Bell and Bill Maniacco.
