In game one, after a scoreless first half the Lasers took a 1-0 lead early in the 2nd half. The Vipers tried to mount a comeback but ran into hot goaltending and missed opportunities. In game two, the Lasers took a 2-0 early lead. In the second half, the Vipers fierce attack fell short. Adriane Bruni and Tiana Palumbo scored for the Vipers.
The Vipers play their last two WOYSL league games of the season this Saturday at 4:30pm and Sunday at 11:00 am at Tom Tipton Field against the 2nd place Cambridge United. The 4th place Vipers hope to gain a pair of wins to have a chance of capturing third in their first year in the league.
