Most people view their own home as a place of safety, where they can be assured of privacy and where they are in control of what happens.

Once a stranger deliberately enters someone’s home, and steals personal property, their home immediately feels unsafe.

And for elderly victims of a break and enter the fear is even worse.

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police need your help in solving a break and enter.

On January 30, 2015 between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. a house on Lumber Lane in Goulais Township was broken into.

Jewelry of sentimental value to the elderly owner valued at $3,000 and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen.

A dark green pick-up truck with a matching dark green cap was seen leaving the scene.

One suspect is described as male, 5’9” tall, stocky build wearing dark clothing.

The other suspect is described as a tall, thin female with dark hair wearing dark clothing.

Crime Stoppers will offer a double reward for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
