Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste Marie Police Service would appreciate the public’s assistance regarding a rash of thefts and break-ins in the west end of the city.
On or about November 1 a house, several garages and vehicles were entered in the Gros Cap area at the west end of the city.
Items taken were a truck, motorcycles, a golf cart and power tools all of which were later recovered in the area.
Items not recovered were a Nintendo W2U, assorted change and gloves.
Two males were seen in the area of Glasgow Ave at approximately 2:30 a.m. where some of the stolen items were recovered.
We would like to remind the public to lock their house, garage, and vehicles because an unlocked door or an open window is an easy target for thieves. Also keep valuables out of sight.
