Trevor Edgar has just wrapped up living The Year of the Beard, where he dedicated 2013 to growing a beard to raise awareness in our community of Cystic Fibrosis. The cause is a close one to Trevor, as two of his brothers and his late sister were all affected by the disease. Trevor not only managed to spread the word about CF during his beard-growing crusade, but also raised money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada. Next up, he is hoping people will sign a petition to approve a new drug, which the Canadian government is looking in to funding, which could potentially lengthen the lifespan of those with a rare form of CF.
