The Canadian Cancer Society is currently looking for Cancer Clinic Volunteers . We are a not for profit organization who depends on its volunteers to make a difference.
Clinic Volunteers provide support to people who are currently going through treatment at the Cancer Clinic in the Sault Area Hospital. Volunteers bring a sense of community and peer support into a medical environment. Time spent volunteering helps to reduces stress and anxiety among patients while allowing the staff to spend more time focused upon medical needs.
• Have a few hours a week to spare during hospital hours?
