On the second day of Christmas, an unexpected meeting for Amanda

Santa Jasmyn had many elves helping her with today's big surprise for Amanda. The local nurse, who has supported so many in our community, is now facing health issues of her own. Loved ones were quick to nominate Amanda for a random act of kindness this holiday season, pointing to her strength, selflessness, and optimism as just a few of the reasons why this young mother and wife deserved to have her day made. Thanks to our generous sponsors we were able to give Amanda a $250 gift certificate from Drug Basics, located in the Food Basics at 701 Pine St., a gift certificate for a day of pampering from Greenhouse Spa (valued at $200), and a crystal keepsake from an anonymous sponsor. Amanda's friends at Northridge Montessori also gifted her with a $50 gift card to Tim Hortons, $50 gift card for Aurora's Hillside, $25 for Domino's Pizza, and coordinated a generous gift from Eva Torresan Photography for a family portrait session (valued at $360).
