Put food in the budget

Sault Ste. Marie received a visit from Mike Balkwill, provincial organizer of the Put Food in the Budget campaign. LOCAL2's Shaylan Spurway met up with Balkwill at the Soup Kitchen on James Street to discuss the campaign that is aiming to raise awareness of the need to raise the social assistance rate, as well as minimum wage, to levels that ensure everyone in Ontario can pay rent and put food in the budget.
