On Monday, July 30, 2012 at 3:15 pm OPP Sault Ste Marie officers responded to a call of a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy 556 in Deroche Twp.Police attended and located the vehicle and damage to guardrails along the side of the road. The driver was transported to Sault Area Hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
The highway was closed for a short period of time while the motor vehicle was removed.
The accident is currently under police investigation.
