"R.A.G.E." - Reflections on Acts of Gendered violence and our Educational lives

The installation is based on my arts-informed qualitative research study based out of OISE / U of Toronto looking at violence against women and its affects on their educational outcomes.
The installation will include narratives of participants in the study as well as real world objects. It will be one part 'walking meditation' for viewers as well as including 'participation stations' for viewers who wish to share their own feelings or stories - anonymously.
The art installation that will be shown at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library - Main Library's reading [main] room on Monday, July 30, from 12 noon until 5pm.
