The Elks 341 Bantam Black Sox picked up a three-game sweep of Livingston over the weekend in exhibition action locally.The Black Sox opened the weekend Friday night with a 7-0 victory. Jarrod Sachro had a single and knocked in a pair of runs while Beau Nolan also had a single and knocked in two runs with a pair of stolen bases as well.
Pitcher Jamis McMaster scattered four hits and a walk in six innings of work. McMaster struck out six Livingston hitters.
In game two, Nolan singled twice and knocked in four runs. McMaster singled and doubled and also knocked in four runs in a 15-6 win.
In the final game of the weekend on Saturday afternoon, the Black Sox completed the sweep with a 3-2 win. Pitcher Colton Read scattered four hits in the complete game victory. Brandon Boyer knocked in the winning run for the Black Sox.
Next up for the Black Sox is when they host their invitational tournament beginning on Friday night.
