The Indoor Soccer League is finally home. April 1st was the initial day that they were able to call the West End Community Centre, “Home.” A full slate of games were scheduled starting at 3:00pm with an exhibition game at 1:30 with over 55 players proving that they are still capable of kicking the ball with precision and speed.

Joe DiFlumeri, chairman of the Indoor Soccer League, thought that it would be a fitting tribute to the people that worked so hard to make their dream of having this Centre built. They lobbied, begged and prayed for years until City Hall gave the go ahead to have it built.

To show how flexible this Centre is, while they were playing soccer, the Sabre Cats were preparing for their up and coming football season on the other half.
