"I am looking forward to working with Coach Cory to help me improve my basketball skills and reach my potential. The most important thing for me is to use this opportunity to further my education at Algoma University."
Wilson has improved his shooting considerably over the last few seasons and will make an immediate impact through his leadership qualities and his ability to run an offense and score when asked to. "With the one year at Carleton I feel I have a better understanding of the game," he said.
Coach Cory is thrilled to have Wilson join next year's squad. "Jovain is such a tough cover for opposing defenses because he can play either guard spot, get to the basket and shoot extremely well. He is also very unselfish and will be able to distribute to his teammates and push the ball in transition" says Cory. "Having Jovain commit to our program represents a great opportunity for AU basketball."
